ASSISTANT EDITOR
We are a fast-paced entertainment marketing and production company looking for an assistant editor.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Organize and prepare media for senior staff
Address notes on trailers and spots.
Perform accurate Quality Control of media
Fulfill tape and digital deliverables for clients
Archive projects in an organized fashion
Should be a team player, willing to do anything to service the needs of the office and the clients. This means - willing to do other general assistant work if it comes up. Answering the phone, handling deliverables, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Great attitude with high energy, driven and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized with high standards of quality
Be able to work full time
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Final Cut Pro and Compressor
Demonstrate a working knowledge of broadcast standards, video compression, etc.
Knowledge of Adobe After Effects a plus
