Details: Position: This is an operational role in a 24/7 environment. An important component of the position is the support of daily studio news production, live-to-tape productions and integration of remote live sports. Most work activities are concentrated during weekends, early morning and overnight shifts and the successful candidate must be willing and able to work within this schedule.

Daily Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for live studio productions at a 24/7 TV production facility that involves live news-type programming, talk shows and integrating live remote events with local control rooms
• Plan, set up, and support live and live-to-tape studio productions
• Maintain TV control room equipment including HD production switchers, digital mixers, VTRs, cameras, and terminal equipment
• Collaborate with Client Services and Sales department to provide highest levels of customer support
• Manage the overall production support effort with continuous improvement processes and contribute to overall technology planning effort of the company
• Supervise a team of two people

Qualifications:
• BA degree in TV Production of Media Studies
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Television Engineer working in live studio and remote production environment, preferably in a sports environment
• Highly cooperative approach towards clients and ability to foster a highly positive partnership with management, co-workers, and other departments
• Ability and willingness to work weekends, early morning and overnight shifts
• Punctual and excellent attendance record
• 3-5 years’ experience working with HDTV, IPTV, and transmission technologies
• 3-5 years’ experience working within a newsroom environment
• EIC-type experience and in-depth knowledge of production equipment, systems and file-based workflows for LIVE studio events and control room support
• BSEE preferred
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
