This is a Part Time Job
Tennis Channel is currently seeking a Jr. Graphic Designer, on a freelance basis, to join their busy in-house team.
Position: This position will work directly with the Senior Designer and the Executive Director of Creative Services on design and layout utilizing leading design software. Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting the design team with graphics needs for a variety of projects, preparing and producing marketing materials, website deliverables and signage.
This is a terrific opportunity for a designer who wants to work in a friendly, energetic, independent sports cable television network. The ideal candidate has flawless attention to detail and is a team player willing to share and collaborate on projects as well as take on and finish a project on their own.
Qualifications:
• BA degree in Graphic Design is required
• Minimum of one year’s experience in creating graphics, preferably for entertainment/television industry
• Advanced proficiency in In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac Platform and a strong understanding of web technology
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent workmanship and a strong sense of detail and creativity
• Highly organized, flexibility with changes and ability to reprioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, ever-changing creative environment
• Ability to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent verbal, written and visual communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow through on projects, from inception to completion, with a high degree of communication
• Under supervision of the Senior Graphic Designer, must be able and willing to create compelling designs, within the constraints of an existing Style guide
