Stradella Road is located in Santa Monica and is seeking an Account Manager/Content Strategist to join our agency team. This position is at the center of our client relationship for digital campaigns on current and evolving social platforms. Stradella Road is a social-first, interactive marketing agency, founded in 2008. We are trusted in delivering world-class strategy and execution of social, digital and multicultural services, with deep roots in the Entertainment category.
You've probably seen some of the campaigns we did for blockbuster films like Transformers, Fifty Shades of Grey, Les Mis, Django Unchained, Tomorrowland, and Big Hero 6. Among our upcoming projects are Pixar's The Good Dinosaur and Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, along with projects with Sony, WB, Paramount, Amazon Studios, and more.

The Account Manager/Content Strategist in our company is not your average Account role. You'll be responsible for architecting & executing editorial strategies across all the social and digital channels for your projects. This is a critical central role that requires a digital multitasker who is equally good at and steeped in the skills required for strong Account Management, social and digital strategy, creative leadership, insightful analysis, and absolute current passion for and facility with evolving social platforms.
This role is the primary hands-on activator of campaigns within our growing team supporting entertainment and brand clients. You are a creative thinker who is fully engrained in the world of social media but can also looks at the large marketing landscape to bring an integrated marketing perspective. You execute campaigns from the creative brainstorm and strategy phase to posting and optimization.
ABOUT YOU: You love working in social media and devising innovative digital strategies. You are passionate about movies, TV and pop culture. You are clever enough to dream up groundbreaking campaign ideas, and savvy enough to shape them and bring them to life. You love brainstorming, both with the team and solo, and you're great in the room at pitching those concepts. You are an good copywriter who cares deeply about tone and message. You can channel a variety of content voicings, from snarky humor to high-brow drama to kid-friendly and beyond. You are confident enough to interface with our film & TV clients, and daring enough to know that a small, growing company that values smarts and a spirit of innovation is where some of the most interesting work gets done.
The Account Manager/Content Strategist will service clients on a daily basis with the support of a Junior Manager and a Coordinator shared by the team. S/he will report formally to the CEO and VP Operations of the company, and day-to-day to an Account Director.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with clients to identify campaign goals, milestones, and expectations
• Campaign ideation & brainstorming
• Client facing role for studio/entertainment and brand partners, ensuring great client relationships, and successful execution of our social marketing campaigns.
• Build and communicate overarching program goals, including all content strategies, design requirements, editorial calendars and reporting.
• Social platform and community management
• Possible management of other digital products like mobile apps, websites, and Tumblrs
• Ability to work closely with and manage Junior Managers, Account Managers, and other team members.
• Reporting and analysis reports for clients
• Pitch ideation and development
• Proposal writing
• Possible social media planning and oversight
• Continuously explore social platforms, trends and new tools to increase our reach and engagement
REQUIREMENTS
• 3 - 5 years experience social media or marketing-related field (film or TV desirable or digital marketing for a Sports, Media or Lifestyle brand)
• BS Degree with a focus on Marketing, PR, English, creative writing, or journalism
• Absolute fluency with all social media platforms; hands on experience managing social media campaigns
• Creative writing skills and sense of good design esthetics
• Upbeat, organized, entrepreneurial and positive, team player
• Ability to use Photoshop and Wordpress desirable
• Highly fluent in the worlds of movies, TV, entertainment, and pop culture
• Strong leadership skills including internal and external management
• Established social media background including driving strategy for a major brand
• Command of performance media including budget allocation and driving strategy for paid efforts
• Strategic thinker with creative problem solving and impeccable, persuasive writing skills
• Superior project management skills
• Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills - deep cross-functional collaboration is required
• Strong command of web and social analytics
• Must be hyper-enthusiastic about ever-evolving social media trends and the digital landscape
• Bachelor's degree required
