Reporting to the Executive Director of New Release Acquisitions Marketing, the Manager will be responsible for Product strategy development and marketing campaign plans for SPHE New Release 3rd Party Acquisitions.
The manager will develop a product marketing strategy and campaign plan that will most effectively exploit the product with consumers. The Manager will lead meetings with the functional teams (ie Creative, Media, PR, Research, Digital and Shopper Marketing) to ensure the product development and campaign plan assets are inline with the marketing strategy and see them through to execution.
The manager will oversee their product P&Ls, National Promotions that have been established and also update the sales field with information and assets for each product.
Responsibilities:
* Create and Implement Marketing Strategy
* Create Marketing Briefs
+ Packaging, TV, Print, Radio, Digital
* Oversee Creative Elements
+ Packaging, Trade and Promotional Materials
+ Print Ads, TV/Radio Spots, Billboards, Digital Elements, etc
* Partner with Shopper Marketing to achieve optimal Retail Presence
+ Retail Exclusives, Corrugate Displays, Circular Ads, etc
* Implement National Promotions
* Communicate ongoing Marketing updates with Sales Field
Knowledge of:
• Marketing principles and practical application is essential; experience in marketing execution is a plus
• Multi-media marketing specifically online marketing is preferable. Home entertainment marketing is a plus
Skill In:
• Strong organizational skills
• Developing marketing plans and strategies
• Strong Interpersonal communication (verbal and written)
• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, word, excel, PowerPoint
Ability To:
• Lead and workcross-functionally across multiple teams
• Create and develop marketing strategies and functional plans
• Ability to determine and implement title & online marketing strategies
• analyze marketing plans, spends and promotions and follow-up with approvals and / or suggested revisions
• Ability to organize and present marketing plan information and summaries for a given title
• Ability to create and give a comprehensive and focused powerpoint presentation
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 3 to 5 years (minimum) of relevant Marketing experience. Experience in Entertainment or packaged goods is preferred, experience in Home Entertainment Marketing is strongly preferred
• Full lifecycle promotional marketing experience is required
• Proven experience in working collaboratively with Sales teams and external customers
