This is a Full Time Job
The Digital Marketing and Advertising Analyst will work closely with the Publicity and Advertising department to distribute materials to the online community as well as participate in the marketing and advertising of our releases online.
Work with web site designers in order to plan, create and execute a website for each Sony Classics release. This may require interaction with the filmmakers on a regular basis throughout the release of the film.
Oversee creation of e-newsletters and send out to all SPC subscribers. During Fall Awards Season, this involves creating “For Your Consideration†e-newsletters as well.
Oversee and maintain all social media for Sony Pictures Classics, including unique Facebook pages for every release, as well as maintenance of company Twitter profile and YouTube channel.
Perform frequent tracking to see where SPC is represented online. Check top portals/sites for correct/up-to-date information.
Register and renew domains for all film sites. Coordinate with website vendors to launch all film sites and subsequent updates to those sites.
During Fall Awards Season, conduct extensive research to determine competitive landscape and advise on potential advertising opportunities. When applicable, work with vendors on “For Your Consideration†creative to distribute to sites we might partner with.
Send out trailers, movie posters and film information to online contacts and when applicable coordinate online exclusives with major film and entertainment sites.
Make recommendations on media buys, and once plan is approved, book, traffic and oversee the creation and production of online ads.

Candidate must be internet savvy, organized, a self-starter and able to manage multiple projects at once. Basic knowledge of HTML and Photoshop a plus.

Superior oral and written communication skills
Internet and online knowledge
Effective research skills
Excellent PC skills in Microsoft Office, Access
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Experience Required:1 - 2 years related experience.
BA preferred.
