Intern - Public Relations

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

SWPR Group is a full-service public relations and marketing agency in Studio City that offers the capacity of a boutique, creative shop, with extensive national and regional press experience that rivals far larger agencies.

SWPR Group is offering part-time or full-time winter/spring internships beginning in February 2012. This internship will be for school credit only. However, if the internship is going well, there is opportunity for paid participation after three months. Below is a list of administrative duties that we will expect the Intern to do at our agency.

• List management: coordination, building and maintenance of press lists using Cision
• Some managing of inbound calls
• Create media alerts, draft news releases for projects
• Participate in brainstorming at meetings and client calls
• General filing and management of archival material as appropriate
• Ensure distribution of daily and weekly publications

Our office hours are Monday through Friday 9-5:30
Commitment: 2-3 days a week
