Intern - Music Management

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Looking for a winter, late fall, or early spring internship? Our company does music management, marketing, and promotion as well as film and video writing and production including music videos.

This is an ideal position for someone interested in music A & R, entertainment industry marketing, public relations, or promotions. It is also ideal for someone seeking to broaden sales/corporate contacts for sponsorships and assignments, or on the writing end, to work on articles, SEO content, video scripts and the like.

Currently we need immediate assistance booking venues and dates and promoting for touring indie folk artist who has returned to Los Angeles; we need help in planning her next tour as well - however full duties would include, but are not limited to:

Music/Marketing
contacting television and film companies in regard to music placement
writing press releases and distributing them
working with us to obtain sponsorship for musical acts and production
planning tours and concert booking
listening to new musical acts, meeting with acts, determining viability for booking and/or representation
finding new acts with potential
contacting venues re booking and working with venues for promotion
designing flyers and posters
scheduling meetings
updating Facebook/Twitter/MySpace accounts
creating an internet presence/buzz
