Audio Engineer

This is a Full Time Job

Seeking freelance audio engineer to work on-site for both long and short form adult content.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Prep, record and mix on-air promos, VOD trailers, online assets and long form shows.

Coordinate with both in-house and freelance producers in receipt of materials.

Copy OMF and Quicktime Media to Pro tools computer. Import video Quicktime into Avid Media Station. Convert Quicktime media to be used in Protools Import OMF audio and converted movie file into Protools.

Review all mixes with producers before bouncing final audio. Create pro tool back up discs for archival purposes, as well as audio stems upon request. Manage all media in an organized and meticulous fashion.

Ensure that equipment and settings result in highest quality audio and meet the specifications set forth by the director or producer.

Assist engineers when needed in installing new audio equipment. Work with audio technicians/specialists when required.

In depth knowledge of pro tools and experience working in a tapeless environment are required. Ability to book audio sessions and comfortably multi-task is a must.
