We are looking for an energetic, experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join us at this fun, creative,
entertainment company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Function as an Accounts Payable Account for multiple companies
- Must be able to deal effectively with people, communicate clearly (verbally and written), and
exercise judgement in dealing with non-recurring situations.
DUTIES:
- Code and process invoices for payment
- Perform weekly check disbursements
- Research and resolve billing discepancies
- Maintain and organize record keeping
- Examine accounting reports for completeness, accuracy and conformance with accounting requirements
- Reconcile A/P to G/L & research & resolve discrepancies
- Prepare journal voucher for approval to correct coding errors
- Assist with accurate and timely closings
- Assist with audits, various special projects, year-end requirements
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Positive attitude
- Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure
- Good communication skills
- Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision
- Has excellent attendance and completes quality work on time
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
PC SKILLS:
MS Word & Excel proficient |

Salary:
|
$35,000 - $40,000 /year DOE.
