Writer/Producer, On Air Promos - E!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceive, write, and produce vast quantities of varied promos
• Oversee inside and out-of-house audio and edit sessions
• Direct talent (voice-over and other)
• Select appropriate music and maintain music cue sheets.
• Though this position mostly produces clip-driven promos, when a shoot project is required, must be able to conceive and oversee
• Meet ALL promo deadlines provided by Production Manager.
• Contribute to On-Air Promotion database and perform other administrative duties in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned and needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of promotion or advertising experience

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
• Must be able to provide work samples
• Must be willing to take and submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

• Must be a true ''creative'' with lots of ideas for both conceptual and clip driven spots
• Strong writing talent. Comedy writing and drama writing a plus
• Skilled in an edit bay (supervising editors); experienced with graphics
• Fearless in the face of deadlines
• Must be able to work as a team player. Someone who can work creatively and effectively with a wide assortment of personalities
• Must also be a self starter, seeking and finding info as needed, always trying to stay ahead and able to work autonomously when necessary
