Senior Writer/Producer, On Air Promos - E!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceive, write, and produce vast quantities of varied promos
• Lead by example with exemplary, innovative creative concepts
• Collaborate with teams on campaign
• Supervise Producers, APs and Interns, as required
• Act as back up for Creative Director when unavailable or on vacation
• Research and share break through creative at bi-weekly Producers' team meeting
• Direct talent (voice-over and other)
• Oversee inside and out-of-house audio and edit sessions
• Work closely with On Air Design department to convey graphics needs for projects
• Select appropriate music and maintain music cue sheets
• Oversee shoots for promotional purposes, as required
• Meet promo air dates and deadlines provided by Production Manager
• Contribute to On-Air Promotion database and perform other administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned and needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 4 years of promotion or advertising experience

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to take and submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Must understand strategy and how to come up with creative that fully fulfills project goals
• Must be an exceptional writer
• Avid and graphics skills are a plus
• Fearless in the face of deadlines
• Must be a team player with the ability to work collaboratively and creatively with a wide assortment of personalities
