This position will be responsible for producing and editing content for Music Choice and SWRV.
Primary Responsibilities
• Pitch, develop, produce and edit content that builds the brand, drives up usage and meets company business goals, from concepts through finished product.
• Supervise crew during field and studio shoots.
• Stay on top of new trends, pop culture and music news with a focus on the 18-35 demographic.
• Work closely with Programming and Ad Sales to brainstorm ideas for special projects.
• Manage and oversee all content produced by lower level staff including resources allocated to them.
Qualifications
• 5+ years experience in writing/producing/directing content in studio and on location on the national broadcast level.
• 3+ years of solid show development experience.
• 3+ years of high level editing experience using Final Cut Studio.
• Creative writing or journalism background a plus.
• Knowledge of music, and/or the music industry.
• B.A. or B.S. preferred, but not mandatory.
• All applicants must provide a reel to be considered.
