Working closely with the Campaign and Communications teams, The Creative Team tells the story of our campaigns and our movement by producing original media content for web, print, TV broadcast and radio distribution. We also produce national cultural events, harnessing the power of the broader artistic community for social change.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the MoveOn.org Creative Director, the Associate Producer will:
Participate in all stages of media pre-production, production and post-production, including development, script writing and editing, casting, and collaboration with directors, editors, and other production professionals.
Act as a liaison between MoveOn.org and Art Not War, our primary production vendor.
Act as a development liaison between the Creative Team and the MoveOn Communications & Campaigns Teams.
Work with the Campaigns, Comms, and ShareMachine Teams to coordinate delivery and distribution of media.
Act as a Field Producer at MoveOn.org and allied events.
Complete special projects at the discretion of the Creative Director.
Skills and Experience
You are a creative professional with passion for politics and media production.
You are a consummate multi-tasker. You are able to concurrently manage several projects at various stages of development, and you know how to make the trains run on time.
You are a people person, comfortable meeting and working with new folks. You work well with everyone from union organizers to Hollywood celebrities.
Basic office skills (Word, Excel, etc) mandatory.
Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop and any graphic design / web design skills a major plus.
