Summary of Position:

Marketing Factory, Inc., an agency devoted to making brand music experiences, is looking for a professional, self-motivated, and responsible individual to join our team as a Project Manager/Digital Specialist for our Client Services units. We are a hybrid agency specializing in music and brand advertising campaigns based in Venice, CA. An aptitude and interest in experiential marketing is preferred, as you will participate in program development. If you are an energetic, confident individual with strong interpersonal skills this position may be a good fit for you.

Position Type:

This position is Full Time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with additional as needed on a per project basis. This position reports to the Unit Manager, Client Services.

Job Summary:

Project manager will work with the Unit Manager and act as an associate-link between our clients and our agency and our vendor/partners. This individual will support the project management of their clients’ campaign, ensuring it is produced on time and on budget per established objectives and briefs.

Job Responsibilities:

The role typically involves handling several activities of both creative and technical teams to deliver a few projects, with many simultaneous tasks.

The Project Manager position will involve working closely with their teammates and staff to:

• Develop proposals.
• Present briefs.
• Estimate costs to various teams.
• Create detailed timelines for projects.
• Strategize and develop websites and social media.
• Create and write:
o Requests for proposals (RFPs).
o Detailed creative briefs.
o Flow charts.
o Create budgets.

Job Requirements:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project-based duties related to producing events and experiences. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced entertainment production type of environment. Successful applicants would be known in their field as a strong leader with exceptional organization skills, strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Applicants need to possess:
• Four year college degree required
• Two years minimum with an advertising agency or event/experiential experience.
• Strong attention to detail with solid problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and maintain several projects at once
• Ability to adhere to tight rolling deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred skill sets:
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Knowledge of music and music industry a plus (contemporary/mainstream)
