Location Sound Recordist
Maker Studios is a fast paced and growing new media company looking for Location Sound Recordists. We are looking for professionals who pay attention to detail and show dedication and commitment to each project. We produce many projects daily, so the ability to work in a high stress environment is crucial.
Job Requirements Include:
- An appreciation of sound, the various qualities it can possess, and those things that can effect recorded sound (hard surfaces, room sizes, interference, etc) are a prerequisite.
- Must be experienced with portable battery operated mixers, lavaliere microphones, shotgun microphones, and H4N Zooms as well as other professional location sound recorders.
- Must be a fast learner.
- Must be good at prioritizing time and tasks.
- Flexible and enthusiastic.
- True desire to work in the online entertainment world.
- Prefer a college degree.
Based in our Culver City location, this is a demanding job, often including 10-12 hour days, which rewards and honors hard work.

Salary:

2000 - 2500 per month salary, plus medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
