Intern - Music Publicity

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

Details:

Responsibilities will include
. Assisting staff, collecting and organizing press clips for numerous publicity campaigns and various clerical duties.
. List management: coordination, building and maintenance of press lists using Cision
. Some managing of inbound calls
. Create media alerts, draft news releases for projects and assemble press kits.
. Participate in brainstorming at meetings and client calls
. General filing and management of archival material as appropriate
. Ensure distribution of daily and weekly publications

*Qualifications:
Applicants should be highly motivated self-starters ready to balance numerous tasks in a small but busy office environment. Strong communication skills and complete proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Previous experience working with high-profile clientele strongly preferred. Applicants should be available to work at least 15 hours each week and be available at least two (2) evenings (Thursday-Saturday) to assist staff at off-site events.
