Intern - Casting

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

Laura Stanczyk Casting is seeking an energetic, hard-working, highly organized person for an immediate full-time internship position. Stanczyk Casting's current and past projects include the Broadway production of FOLLIES, LOMBARDI, RAGTIME, Edward Albee's ME, MYSELF & I, IMPRESSIONISM, the 2011 production of FOLLIES at the Kennedy Center, the future Randy Newman Musical HARPS AND ANGELS at the Mark Taper Forum, the US premiere of DIRTY DANCING, Ahrens and Flaherty's THE GLORIOUS ONES at Lincoln Center, DAMN YANKEES at City Center Encores, and the Broadway productions of RADIO GOLF, THE SEAFARER, and CORAM BOY. Ms. Stanczyk also works extensively with the McCarter Theatre and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

The intern will work directly with casting director and assistants. Responsibilities include: reviewing actor submissions, maintaining all office databases and files, corresponding with agents and managers, and assisting in auditions.

Prior experience in a casting/agency office is a plus, but not required.
This internship is a great opportunity to have a hands-on experience in the casting process and has the possibility of developing into a paid position.
