Intern - Music Management

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

JRH Entertainment Group is a top boutique management/production company for music, TV and film representing celebrity clientele and breaking new artists in the pop, pop/rock and pop/urban genre. We are currently seeking hard-working, enthusiastic and business savvy interns for the Music Division who are looking to gain experience in music management and work directly with management executives for our Summer 2013 Intern Program.

Interns will be assigned to assist in all aspects of one or more clients or projects including:
*Web research
*Artist marketing and promotions
*Scheduling recording sessions, rehearsals, meetings
*MySpace, YouTube, internet promo
*Digital music sales
*Songwriter/licensing submissions and tracking
*General administrative duties

Job Requirements:

*Intern must be dependable, have great people skills and phone manners, an outgoing personality and be able to function well in both a corporate business setting and in social settings/high profile celebrity events, etc. Must have a can-do attitude, be a self-starter and able to start ASAP.

*Must have strong writing and communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized

*MUST have laptop computer with wireless access and be tech savvy -- Word, Excel, MySpace, YouTube, iTunes, mass emails, etc. Must have access to own transportation, valid driver's license and insurance. Must have cell phone, BlackBerry a plus

*Must have some experience in music or entertainment. Experience in marketing, promotions, graphic design, or PR is a plus.

*Should have knowledge of pop culture & music in the 18-25, MTV & BET demographics

*MINIMUM of 15 to 25 hours per week (3-5 days) for minimum of 12 weeks. Available immediately.

Education:
*Must have completed 1st year of college; can use internship for credit.
