Temporary Legal Affairs Executive

ITV Global Entertainment has an opening for a temporary legal affairs executive, working within the television sales team for the Americas.

Duties will primarily involve reviewing, drafting and negotiating license agreements for the sale of our finished programs throughout North and South America and providing general legal advice to the sales team. In addition, you will work closely with other departments in ITV to prepare and execute amendments to existing license agreements and deal with enquiries related to rights issues, program information and the availability of materials.
The work may include drafting agreements for the acquisition of content and working on international co-productions, as well as other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Legal Affairs, to whom the position reports.

Requirements:
Four years experience, at least two of those working in-house for a media company and ideally including television distribution experience.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Member of the CA Bar
Ability to work under deadline
Self starter and team player

The opening will commence May 7 until approximately November 16, 2012.
