In this hectic startup environment, the best candidate is a self-starter, fanatically organized, detail-oriented and tenacious. A love of pop culture, tv and movies is a huge plus. You’ll brainstorm with Hulu.com’s talented content and sales team to propose and manage new sales opportunities that extend the brand, appeal to clients, and employ new web trends and technology. Responsibilities include helping to define and assess project requirements, day-to-day project management, individual project and master calendaring in coordination with the Ops team, as well as inter- and intra-department communication.
Responsibilities
• Developing and executing on online advertising strategies, including video and in-content advertising, viral distribution, social networking site integration, and more. This is a hands-on role that includes not only Producing tasks, but building assets in Flash, Photoshop and more
• Helping to generate ideas and concepts for sponsorable opportunities and features for advertisers
• Cross-functional project management for launching new site features that integrate advertising to help distribute Hulu’s content across the web
• Managing the flow of assets and information between internal and external teams, as well as among internal team members
• Managing the receipt of deliverables for development partners and vendors
• Managing project changes and ensuring the quality of all project deliverables
• Partner with the Finance team to assist with the billing of custom creative
Qualifications
• 2+ years experience in online ad sales and online creative coordination
• A passion for advertising with exceptional creativity
• Experience working with graphic/web/video design programs Photoshop and Flash required. (video software skills such as Motion or After Effects a plus)
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint required
• Superb communication abilities, editorial skills, negotiation techniques
• Team attitude, problem solving capabilities, assertive
• Natural attention to detail
• Commitment to team
Education
Bachelor's Degree
