Senior Accountant

This is a Full Time Job

Production company with over a half dozen series is looking to add a Senior Accountant with financial reporting to our team. As a Senior Accountant supporting Financial Reporting you will report to the Head of Finance and take ownership of the reporting and internal control process. The position requires an individual who is highly motivated with the ability to be flexible with ever-changing priorities.

•Month-end close and presentation of the balance sheet, cash flow, and income statement results to the Head of Finance supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Draft and ensure compliance with the Company's financial policies/procedures and other matters related to compliance such as: asset control, capital expenses, and other financial controls.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations and highlight to management potential issues affecting expenses, balances, or cash flow.
• Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis..
• Assist with financial and tax audits. Complete requested materials. Assist in preparing assigned schedules for the annual Accounting Review.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Knowledge of Quickbooks, and preferably experience with the set up and conversion of Accounting Systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• 2+ years accounting/finance experience
