Music - Project Manager
Project Manager, 2+ years of experience (Music Industry Focus)
Job Description: The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the on-time delivery of projects marketing initiatives across the company departments. Campaign elements include digital marketing, publicity, SEO analytics, email marketing, social media, lifestyle marketing and other interactive tools.
In conjunction with the department head, you will draw up a project roadmap, maintain the project delivery schedule, coordinate team/department deliverables, manage project requirements, conceptualize and implement marketing ideas, speak with clients on a weekly basis, update department head on status of projects, gather and maintain client account progress reports, to ensure a successful campaign based on the projects objectives.
The Project Manager works with team members across the company's various departments, including, visual production, design, social media, online marketing, publicity, & lifestyle marketing and reports directly to the VP, Artist and Label Services.
The Project Manager is an exceptional communicator, extremely organized, efficient, shows a high attention to detail, highly proficient at artist marketing campaign tracking and reporting, fantastic at keeping track of multiple projects through various stages in their campaign cycle. Previous Project Management and Marketing experience is a must.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing and managing the project marketing plan and working with project teams to execute on plans.
Monitor day-to-day activities on the project and ensure work is progressing as planned.
Work with project team in pushing the campaign forward, and be actively involved in all aspects of the work in a marketing capacity.
Manage marketing schedules, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon by the whole team.
Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all resources working across projects based on scope of work and project goals.
Actively monitor project risks and scope to identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
Consistently identify needs that Clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
Continuously manage client understanding on the status of their campaign through weekly phone communication, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback.
Communicate and document project status on a bi-weekly basis per project, including progress throughout each department
