Production Coordinator

EQAL is hiring a Production Coordinator to assist with office tasks and production of multiple online video series for a high-profile fashion and beauty YouTube premium content channel. The Production Coordinator will help with scheduling, errands and organization related to the department’s original video production. This person assists General Manager and Producer with miscellaneous tasks. In addition, the Production Coordinator will occasionally assist Associate Producer with small-scale location shoots for our celebrity editorial websites. This is a six month contractor position available immediately.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Basic understanding of interactive video production.
• 1+ year(s) of experience working in video production.
• Ability to write and edit video metadata and publish content.
• Ability to work under deadlines and maintain quality and accuracy of work.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle evolving timelines.
• Exceptional organization, communication and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED:
• Knowledge and interest in the Fashion and Beauty category (Females, Ages 12-29).
• Experience working with celebrity talent.
• Experience on-location filming and production (lighting, audio, shot set up, etc)
• Experience using HD video equipment and accessories.
• Basic Final Cut editing skills
• Knowledge of video optimization and social media best practices.
