Team Lead / Interactive Blu-ray Production

Deluxe Digital Studios, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead / Interactive Blu-ray Production for Burbank, CA.

Responsibilities:

Qualified candidate will lead a team of developers and others who are providing software engineering support for the production of internet accessible Blu-ray DVD disks of Hollywood movies. Provide team members with work assignments to format, design, and develop new Blu-ray DVD applications, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of these new software designs. Manage team members who are developing the necessary software and engineering specifications needed to produce these consumer products. Ensure technical compliance with specifications by reviewing the work of team members who are using their knowledge of security codes for Disney studio, Photoshop, Media Playback, and graphic utilities to develop the required specification needed to launch these Blu-ray DVD disks. Coordinate and redistribute when necessary, the work of team members who are formatting specifications used to develop systems designs, algorithm development, user interface design/testing, multiplexer designs, file-system designs and hardware interface design for the production of these consumer products. Ensure projects are completed timely by overseeing the work performed by team members who are formatting, designing, and developing new Blu-ray DVD applications, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of these new software designs. Interacting with team members to provide them with the needed direction so they can provide the necessary production software need to manufacturer these products.

Qualifications:

Must have a BS in CS, Software Engineering, or related field and 18 months direct experience, or 3 years related experience leading, providing work assignments to. Reviewing the work of, coordinating and redistributing when necessary the work of, overseeing the work of, and providing the needed direction.
