Production Manager/Coordinator

This is a Full Time Job

Seeking a talented Production Manager/Coordinator to work a dual role on a new loosely scripted comedy series (8 episodes, think CURB in terms of style) for a cable network covering 98 million households AND a new teen talk show being co-produced by Tribune (two separate shows).

You should apply for this job if you meet any of these qualifications:

• Have produced for situation comedies
• You are an exceptional supervising producer and have worked on scripted series
• Have live TV experience (in control room and in studio) as a segment producer or supervising producer.

You should have a Rolodex of top notch professionals in Chicago that bend over backwards for you. Loyalty is key here, and we are eager to meet you.

You should be light-hearted, focused, energetic. Fun to be around is an understatement. Tight deadlines, low budgets, entreprenurial spirit as we build something bigger than the individuals on the team itself is the name of this game. The scripted show Producing position starts now (writers, too) and the teen talk show starts in July until 2013. Still, this is considered Freelance.

5+ years of emotional intelligence is key, 3-5+ years experience in scripted series and/or live studio scenarios is essential.
