China Lion, North America’s leading distributor of Chinese-language films whose shareholders include leading Chinese studios Huayi Brothers International and BONA International Film Group, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its CEO.
Located in Century City, this multifaceted role will primarily involve assisting the CEO in day-to-day operational duties, as well as marketing and materials coordination, production reports, analytical research and reporting and other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Speak and read fluent Mandarin is required (with knowledge of Cantonese preferred)
o Due to the requirements of this position, fluency testing may be required
• Maintains administrative workflow by studying company methods and implementing efficiencies through multi-tasking and procedural improvements
• Provides information and facilitates workflow by answering requests and directing to the proper department heads
• Well-versed in basic Microsoft Word programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and provide requested research on an ad hoc basis
• Assist out-of-town candidates and personnel with travel, hotel and car arrangements
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the film distribution sector is preferred
• Understand and appreciate the Asian film sector, particularly Chinese films
Shortlisted applicants will interview with our CEO in January with China Lion looking to fill the position in early February. |
