The Billboard com video department produces, shoots and edits premier music content including multi-camera performances, event coverage, exclusive interviews with recording artists and live weekly web shows. Our videos are distributed across Billboard's online networks to hundreds of thousands of viewers.
We're looking for hardworking, resourceful, fast thinking students to serve as an important part of our small production team. Intern responsibilities may include: editing interview, performance & event videos, media management, online distribution, camera work, lighting and set PA work for our web shows. The right candidate will gain significant experience with professional entertainment news video equipment, aesthetics and workflow. Popular music enthusiasts will especially enjoy working with Billboard. Video editors with some production background are ideal candidates.
INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST receive school school credit for this program
- an firm understanding of documentary shooting & post production processes
- solid Final Cut Pro skills
- ability to complete projects with minimal supervision
This is a non-paying internship.
Flexible scheduling. At least 20 hours per week.
Dates: Spring 2012 Term
