We are currently looking for an Onboarding Coordinator for our Talent Management team.
Summary
The main goal of the Onboarding Coordinator is to continuously add good quality translators to our database. They will do so by sourcing, testing, assessing translation quality, and providing feedback, support and training to potential new translators. They will manage this process from start to finish.
The Onboarding Coordinator will take part in the processing of the onboarding of dubbing talents such as Voice Talents and Dubbing Directors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Source new translators and process all new translator applicants.
Set up translation tests.
Arrange for translation tests to be assessed by our already vetted translators.
Follow up with translators and oversee all timelines to ensure timely completion.
Assess all completed tests, passing or failing each candidate. (With direction from the Director of Localization)
Add all new successful applicants to the applicable databases.
Provide feedback to the applicants on their translations and walk through the on-boarding process with successful applicants.
Provide support to the potential new translators on style guides and the use of our internal tools, etc.
Assist in the onboarding of dubbing talents such as Voice Talents and Dubbing Directors, etc.
Perform related tasks as necessary and assigned by Manager or Lead, including special projects, as they occur.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Educated to degree level. Preference given to those with a modern languages degree.
Preference will be given to those with previous experience in subtitle production, a background in project management or fluent in a second language.
Language Skills
Fluency in foreign language(s) a plus.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of the latest versions of Windows or Mac OS, Web Browsers (Chrome, Safari and/or Firefox), Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint and Skype). Some prior experience in cloud-based project management applications and sites a huge plus!
