We are seeking a full-time experienced assistant for a management company based in Los Angeles.
Zero Gravity is a progressive entertainment company whose strength lies in the development and representation of screenwriters, directors, and actors. ZG maintains a list of some of the industry's most established professionals in all areas. The firm is also a well-respected full-service production company handling the development, finance, execution, and sale of projects in film, television, and new media.
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to seek out new and upcoming talent
Ability to roll calls
Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Has strong knowledge of the industry players
Individuals must be organized and have excellent interpersonal/effective written & verbal communication.
Detail-oriented with a strong feeling of responsibility when it comes to client relationships
Adaptable, self-motivated, good at prioritizing, and solution/results-driven
Interest to work in representation
Should have a passion for building careers and being apart of an incredible team
Responsibilities:
Manage & build relationships, proactive client outreach
Handle multiple projects at once
Assist in talent department meetings and strategizing
Scheduling client/manager meetings and coordnating travel
Handling sensitive material
Reading scripts and doing coverage
Tracking talent and projects
Submitting talent on Breakdowns
Talking with casting directors, producers, etc. and pitching clients
Requirements:
At least a year of experience assisting a agent/manager in the entertainment industry; or any combination of experience and training which would provide the level of knowledge and skills required.
