Yoga Records is a small reissue label in Los Angeles specializing in 70s and 80s private press folk, psych, SSW, new age, new wave, and related genres. The label is responsible for 20 download reissues, two LPs, and a 3CD set, with several more LPs, cassettes, and CDs on the way, including collaborations with several of the best reissue labels in the world. Yoga Records is a well-connected, pro-artist, anti-corporate operation that seeks to do as much in house as possible as cheaply as possible, including tape restoration and transfers, art direction, web design, publicity, distribution, piracy watch, and bookkeeping.

My name is Douglas and I run YR. The label is growing at an alarming rate and I'm looking for one or two sharp and ambitious interns to help with most aspects of the operation, especially graphic design, copywriting, and publicity. All candidates need to be media literate, creative thinkers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their knowledge of music and the record business from an independent, DIY perspective. Please google us.
