Yale Productions is a rapidly growing independent feature film production company, producing 3-6 movies each year, across all budget sizes and genres. The company is seeking a Director of Finance to join the team.
The Director of Finance will play an integral role in the finance strategy for each film project, and for the company overall. The primary responsibility will be managing the company's finances, including overseeing collections and payments for prior films, preparing financial models for potential film projects, and advising on potential investments.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for independent film making and a strong knowledge of film financing, sales, and collections (including experience with collection account management agreements). Previous entertainment experience and familiarity with film budgets and financials is a plus, but not required.
This is a full-time position that requires a willingness to work independently and flexibility outside of the typical 9-5 hours.
