Role: Web Developer/ Laravel Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the technical execution of projects
• Provides hands-on programming and testing (functional, integration, unit testing, etc.)
• Proven expert in Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
• Communicates openly, confidently and effectively internally and with clients
• Can present and discuss technical solutions and proposals to the client
• Conducts routine code reviews for the development team
• Possesses strong knowledge of open source projects and frameworks
• Applies best practices regarding coding and documentation standards
• Manages overall quality of the code being developed
• Prepares and presents status updates to the client
• Participates in code reviews with the development team
• Supports adherence to project timelines and budgets
• Seeks to clarify business requirements and shares responsibility with leadership to transform those requirements into results
Qualifications:
• BS or advanced degree in software engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience using PHP
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Laravel - ideally in recent projects
• Experience in Vue.js or another frontend framework such as React is a major plus
• Excels at critical reasoning and decision making
• Experience working with distributed teams and clients
• Knowledge of Agile and SDLC concepts, practices, and techniques
• Competency developing web or mobile applications
• Obsessive focus on details and accuracy of final deliverables
