Role Summary:
The Vice President, International Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for the international businesses at WWE HQ. The VP, International Operations serves as the liaison between the local office leadership and WWE's executive team, overseeing all major activities across regions and lines of business in the global matrix.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the International departments
• Manage and prioritize local activities, setting the agenda for executive involvement
• Coordinate and track deliverables and accomplishments across multiple initiatives/projects
• Partner with senior executives across lines of business to drive and support day-to-day departmental and cross-functional initiatives
• Lead strategic initiatives and tactical deliverables across multiple functional areas, such as Finance, HR, and Legal
• Provide guidance to local market leaders and support in identifying and solving problems in collaboration with appropriate line of business leaders
• Lead a variety of special projects based on international strategic priorities set by WWE's executive leadership
• Work closely with senior leadership to define optimal performance management programs to ensure overall department success and align training, reporting, and incentive programs with performance management platforms
• Help sustain a positive, entrepreneurial, and high performing culture across international markets
• Lead a team at HQ in support of international priorities
Qualifications:
• 15 years of proven operations and strategic planning experience with progressively responsible roles involving sales, licensing, media partnerships, and/or consumer products within international markets.
• Outstanding facilitator for cross-functional thinking to define complex issues, generate ideas, influence thinking, and build consensus around decisions
• Strong analytical and financial skills anchored by natural, common sense thinking
• Finely honed written and verbal communication skills driven by solid business logic and keen judgment
• Strong experience interacting with and presenting to senior executives
• Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to independently structure and lead complex initiatives
• Ability to maintain poise and grace under pressure
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively inform, motivate, and organize a multi-person sales team
• Track record of success working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Able to travel for business (up to 20%) and work a flexible schedule to align with colleagues across time zones
• A four-year degree and MBA is required
