WWE has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, creative, strategic, go-getter to build upon his/her experience and lead WWE’s Interactive Media team across the Home Entertainment and Interactive Games Licensing businesses.
The Vice President, Interactive Media Licensing will develop and execute the strategy to drive profitable revenue opportunities within the Home Entertainment and Interactive Games Licensing businesses by enhancing WWE's Consumer Products position as a major entertainment brand across the appropriate distribution channels. This role is also responsible for developing the requisite skills within the Interactive Media Licensing team.
Responsibilities:
* Develop Home Entertainment and Interactive Games Licensing strategies and align these strategies with key internal stakeholders within the Digital, TV & Programming, International, and Marketing teams
* Manage WWE's home entertainment business from top to bottom, working with WWE's distributor(s) and their sales teams
* Monitor industry trends and articulate a vision for WWE to stay relevant to its key Home Entertainment and Interactive Media consumers
* Develop annual revenue forecasts in conjunction with Consumer Products and Finance management teams
* Align with WWE Global Licensing North America and International sales teams to ensure Home Entertainment and Interactive Media is a truly global effort with consistent key partner support in all priority markets
* Strengthen and expand WWE’s relationships with key retail partners and seek new channels of distribution
* Manage global Interactive Games partner and regional Home Entertainment partners, and ensure these relationships result in profitable growth for all involved and is based on an agreed five-year strategic plan framework
* Outline the product road map in terms of Home Entertainment and Interactive Games content delivery platforms
* Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Home Entertainment and Interactive Games hardware and platform partners
* Maintain a very strong working relationship with WWE’s TV & Programming teams
* Work with Legal department in efforts to combat counterfeit and anti-piracy issues
* Manage “On-Time & Complete” a major annual game launch along with the rollout of a broad Home Entertainment portfolio of new content releases
* Manage the team’s Travel & Entertainment and Marketing budgets, and guide the use of third-party partner marketing budgets
* Develop the skills of the Home Entertainment and Interactive Media team members
Qualifications:
* 15+ years of combined Home Entertainment and Interactive Games experience with a major entertainment or studio company across global markets
* Knowledgeable and well versed with a distribution model business
* Experience with licensing deal terms for the Home Entertainment and Interactive Media industries and manufacturing costs for the Home Entertainment industry
* Strong contacts in the Home Entertainment and Interactive Games industries
* Familiar with ePOS data and all other relevant industry measurement metrics
* Proven analytical skills and ability to effectively manage the team’s P&L
* Able to sell-in ideas internally and externally
* Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Able to work effectively with all levels of management within and outside the company
* Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
* Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
* Able to travel for business as required
* Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred
