Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
• Review and manage the indirect tax compliance process including state sales/use tax, VAT, GST, and Athletic Tax Return filings of the firm.
• Research Federal/State tax notices and gather support for response preparation.
• Assist with data gathering and account analysis for WWE's U.S. Federal Consolidated Income Tax Return Form 1120 preparation.
• Manage the Tax fixed asset ledger. Coordinating with accounting team for additions, sales and periodic write-offs. Reviewing Capital Expenditure projects and monitoring project status ensuring placed in-service dates accurate and proper calculation tax depreciation.
• Assist Sr. Manager-Tax with Tour related tax obligations including compilation of Talent for specific tour dates, preparation performer certificates (country specific), and working with TalPay to ensure accurate withholding of foreign/domestic tax, where applicable, to performers remuneration.
• Working in JDE (accounting software). Analysis of account balances and review of journal entries.
• Calculate and prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and vouchers for both Federal and State.
• Liaise with State and City department of revenue centers to determine current tax payments on account.
• Organize data requests for tax credit applications
Qualifications:
• College graduate, BA/BS from an accredited college/university.
• Major in accounting or finance with accounting concentration
• 0-2 years working in public accounting or accounting department
• Prior tax experience a plus, not required
• Must be able to work in Stamford, CT
• Knowledge Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
