Director Data Products, Data Technology
WWE is seeking a Director of Data Products will champion a Data-as-a-Product mindset, responsible for planning, leading, managing and executing the product roadmap utilizing WWEs enterprise data assets in partnership with business units at WWE. This role will be key to the rollout of the data driven products and platform reporting across WWE, and will partner with Insights & Analytics, business units and other technology teams across WWE portfolio to analyze user needs, documenting user stories, prioritizing themes and epics based on KPIs and other inputs, and tracking feature impact on KPIs.
Overall data technology stack also include MarTech stack. The key goal of this stack is to support fan acquisition, retention, engagement and monetization by providing personalized experiences for fans based on their interaction with WWE across media, live events, advertising, and CPG. Knowledge of marketing platforms, advertising tech, and testing tools to drive development of meaningful fan activations is a huge plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the vision, roadmap development, implementation and maintenance of data products across multiple business units
• Support development of WWE's Data Strategy Roadmap working with data technology and insights & analytics teams
• Combining the voice and needs of the users and business requirements to create both high-level roadmaps and detailed delivery plans of features and capabilities. Leading prioritization, stakeholder management and delivery for ingestion, processing and availability of data
• Partnering with consumer-facing Product Managers to design tracking, capture & upstream data production solutions for product launches
• Evaluating, integrating and managing relationships with data solution providers
• Develop detailed product specifications with user scenarios and acceptance criteria and success measures.
• Partner with Analytics, Data Science, UX, Data Engineering, Data Architecture and Program Management teams to develop, test and deliver high quality products and features that meet end users' and internal business' needs
• Lead and collaborate on all business readiness activities including product testing, end user education, rollout, iteration and support
• Oversee the adoption of new features and capabilities across the organization
• Own Marketing tool Stack such as CRM tool, Data Management Platform (DMP), Advertising Platforms, Digital Monitoring Platforms (DMP), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), and Consent/Cookie Management tools
• Work with digital product team to define google analytics/ big query data collection strategy
• Develop, and maintain application performance monitoring and alerting platforms (processes, tools, & templates); develop enhanced reporting capabilities through standardization and automation.
• Provide support and solutions to cross-functional teams such as Media, Technology, Analytics, Consumer Product Goods (CPG), Advertising, and Live Events
• Evaluate existing and identifying potential new vendors or tools.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• 5+ years in product management experience with building and delivering successful data products, services and capabilities
• 3+ years of professional experience in corporate business intelligence, data solutions or data strategy roles, preferably within subscription and/or content distribution businesses; TV, Entertainment, Media, or Sports industry experience is a must. Thorough knowledge of and relationships with data providers and platforms in the data space
• 3+ years of experience in applied data science, analytics or Machine learning is a big plus
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Good understanding of AWS/GCP, relational and normalized databases from both utility as well as data model design and development
• Knowledge of Tag Management, Systems Integrations, APIs, webhooks & Connectors
• Knowledge of CDP (customer data platform) and CEP (customer engagement platforms) is a huge plus
• Technical background with knowledge of software development, web and native app technologies
• Deep knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics/Big Query/Adobe Omniture
• Familiarity with ETL and ELT methodologies; Experience with visualization tools
• Proficient in agile product development
• Technical background with knowledge of software development, web and native app technologies
