Summary
The Sr. Director of Operations will support the Gaming organization. This position will interface with key leaders and partners across WWE to execute strategies and plans to drive execution of all business priorities. Based in Stamford, CT, the ideal candidate will have an extensive business background with a special focus on senior-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Directly responsible for supporting the SVP in running the day-to-day operations of WWE's gaming business unit and bridging the gap between strategic planning and tactical execution
• Manage the flow of information to and from the SVP; operate as the primary liaison with management, staff, and external organizations and leaders as appropriate
• Ensuring the proper allocation of the SVP's time to enable him to deliver on key objectives and focus on broader-based corporate issues
• Assist and advise the SVP in developing and managing the short- and long-term strategic objectives of the gaming division; maintain focus on progress against the objectives and ensure deadlines are met
• Support and facilitate various management meetings, including weekly meetings, business reviews, and team off-sites as necessary
• Inform and advise the SVP on all issues, internal or external, where a potential conflict or future breakdown may occur
• Assist and communicate with gaming team in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
• Manage external asset and campaign submissions ensuring partners submit quality and on time collateral and managing internal review processes
• Collaborate with internal key stakeholders and external partners to create processes and efficiencies to execute better and faster and develop presentations on behalf of the SVP for use with the management team and key internal stakeholders
• Oversee the Administrative Assistant and provide guidance on weekly priorities, calendar, travel, etc. in order to streamline communication and bring solutions to the SVP
Qualifications
• Degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years in a business or project management role
• Maintain a high degree of discretion, prioritization, and project management skills, as well as the ability to influence and reach amicable and successful solutions
• Help sustain a positive, entrepreneurial, and high performing culture to facilitate delivery of WWE's strategic goals
• Outstanding facilitator for cross-functional thinking to define complex issues, facilitate ideas, influence thinking, and build consensus around decisions or effectively lead discussion towards decision
• 24x7 availability; Poise and grace under pressure
• Excellent leadership, communication, and prioritization skills
• Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
• Preferred knowledge and experience using project management methods (SCRUM, Agile)
