Full Time Job
Director of Fan Analytics and performance will be responsible for providing robust, in-depth, quantitative analyses focused on business needs and driving growth across several WWE lines of business and fan engagement domains. S/he will provide expertise for implementing, developing, and enhancing WWE's analytics capabilities including driving the forward-looking features, functions, and solutions necessary to deliver the analysis and insights required for evolving business needs. This position reports to the VP of Fan/Marketing Analytics and will assist him in leading business executives and users to leverage insights and adopt best practices for insight/data management processes and data quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translating Live Event / Marketing / Fan related questions and concerns into specific data structures that can be used in statistical and machine learning methods with the goal of generating insights.
• Deep customer focus –drive adoption of new data products, critical tools, and improved processes such as forecasting/outlooking, lifetime value, or next best action recommendations
• Working with business stakeholders and data engineers to acquire the required data when it is not available - understand data acquisition tactics and able to help lead those data projects
• Partner with data technology team on build out of WWE's technology stack – lead requirements and user testing phases – participate in sprint planning and tracking
• Manage a team of analysts and data scientists focused on a diverse range of problems across WWE's Data Analytics organization.
• Spearhead analytics projects such as network optimization, demand forecasting, pricing sensitivity, marketing effectiveness, etc. focused on improving the fan experiences, driving operational efficiencies, and building algorithm driven methodologies to answer business questions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of projects from concept to delivery, connecting analytical insights with business objectives of initiatives and campaigns
• Drive change through implementation and adoption of new analytics products
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of professional experience in corporate analytics-related roles with management experience
• Fluency with an analytics concepts and how to apply them
• Improving upon existing Forecasting models through feature engineering, testing model enhancements, running experiments, and fine-tuning parameters for better results
• Fluency with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Presenting critical data in a format that is immediately useful to answer questions about the inputs and outputs of Demand Forecasting systems and improving their performance
• Communicating verbally and in writing to business customers with various levels of technical knowledge, educating them about our systems, as well as sharing insights and recommendations
• Thorough understanding statistical methodologies and approaches and how they can be deployed to drive value within a live events / digital (subscription) business
• Experience with SQL / Other tools is a huge plus - ability to understand data structures and help build points of views to answer questions
