Senior Information Security and Data Privacy Analyst (Contract)
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Inc. located in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking an experienced information security professional to support the organization's data security and privacy initiatives. The Sr. Information Security and Data Privacy Analyst is responsible for designing and maintaining information security controls. In addition to identifying, and addressing privacy risks and supporting the framework, policies, and procedures vital to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. Furthermore, this role recommends and implements plans for maintaining WWE's compliance with applicable data privacy regulations, such as the EU GDPR, CCPA, and others.
The successful candidate will have hands-on and practical experience in areas of cyber and information security with experience in maintaining data privacy programs. They must also have in depth knowledge of security methodologies and frameworks, including experience in establishing both technical and organizational controls.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and implement data security standards to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations for the EU GDPR and CCPA
• Participate as a key member of the Data Privacy Program team working with partners from the Information Security and Legal Affairs departments
• Lead and complete on-going Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
• Work across all technology teams and Lines of Busines (LoB) in developing protocols and processes for the handling and protection of information
• Assist and support other members of the Information Security department in developing and/or maturing existing security programs to include but not limited to application security, S-SDLC, infrastructure and cloud security, critical security controls, and cyber security awareness
• Work with other technology teams in the deployment of tools, services and platforms for system and data security
• Evaluate existing data security controls for effectiveness and efficiency
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of WWE's data privacy platform – OneTrust
• Develop, define, and provide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics in support of Sr. Management's oversight
Qualifications:
• Four-year degree in computer science or related combined work/education experience
• 7+ years of proven ability in Cyber Security/Information Security with industry certification (CISSP preferred)
• Experience in data privacy regulations (GDPR and CCPA)
• Other industry certifications a plus (CISM, CIPP, and CRISC)
• Experience in application security and role-based access controls
• Knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection model (OSI model)
• Experience in the implementation of CIS Critical Security Controls in a practical and systematic manner
• Experience working within a global, IT organization
• Experience in supporting IT infrastructures
• Knowledge in cloud security architectures as it relates to data protection
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
• Experience in the configuration and deployment of privacy management platforms
• Ability to analyze complex information and identify key and relevant points, including presenting in a relevant and easy to understand manner
• Practical experience in implementing security policies, procedures, and technologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid experience in developing technical documents
• Good attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage time efficiently
• Great teammate with ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels
• High degree of initiative requiring little or no supervision, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize assignments, solve problems, and meet deadlines
• Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
