This position will involve managing all aspects of project management from concept through project completion.
The Creative Services Project Manager is detail-oriented, self-motivated, energetic and a tactful communicator who facilitates workflows and processes from project start to end. Reporting to the Senior Production Director, and working alongside Creative Directors, the Project Manager will maintain ownership over both internal and cross-functional project management tools and is the liaison between the Creative Services team and the company at-large.
With a zeal for the sports entertainment industry, the ideal candidate relishes the challenge of operating at a consistently high-level in a dynamic environment of shifting priorities with like-minded team members. The candidate thrives juggling multiple projects of varying complexities and takes initiative to create organized solutions for a high volume of projects. Whether they're producing a national ad campaign, creating wardrobe for a new character or investigating materials for a television prop to be seen by millions, this candidate gives it their all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage projects through all phases of the design, approval and production process to ensure that timelines, budget requirements, job specifications and deliverables are met
• Assess project briefs for scope, direction and clarity
• Create schedules and communicate priorities on a daily basis
• Ensure creative direction and deadlines are fully communicated with internal creative team
• Work closely with designers and vendors to determine specs and production techniques as well as troubleshoot production issues and offer creative solutions
• Obtain estimates and secure vendors based on quality, cost, service and turnaround time
• Interface with, and maintain a database of, prop and specialty vendors, staying current with industry trends and specific WWE needs
• Establish and maintain relationships with all partner departments within WWE
• Keep current with WWE content, characters, storylines and products
Requirements:
• Minimum of four years professional experience in project management for an ad agency, in-house creative department, or design studio
• Proven experience in establishing and maintaining production schedules and budgets for multiple, concurrent, deadline driven projects through all phases of design, prepress, and production
• Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) including the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to a wide range of internal and external clients
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and FileMaker Pro
• Reliable, punctual, self-directed, and flexible to changing priorities or circumstances
Plusses
• Experience with live-events marketing
• Experience with prop, wardrobe and trophy production
• Knowledge of Workfront, ProofHQ, Cumulus, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Bachelor's degree
