Job Description: Executive and A/V Technician
WWE has an exciting opportunity for an Executive and A/V Technician to join the Workplace Technology team based in Stamford, CT! The primary role of the Executive and A/V Technician is to provide hands-on technical operations support for audio/visual meeting technologies, virtual web meetings, and video conference technologies. This position works closely with the Service Desk, Onsite Support, Network Infrastructure, and Client Platform teams to provide service direction and support for daily operations. It also provides white glove support to senior management end users for all client technology needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day organization and execution of in-person and virtual events for WWE staff, including interfacing with third-party vendors and partners.
• Work closely with executive and administrative assistants to schedule and accommodate meeting room technology needs.
• Collaborate with the rest of the Executive Support and Audio Visual services team to ensure meeting room and virtual event demands are met.
• Responsible for communication with event organizers to gather important technical details.
• Work collaboratively with Infrastructure Services and Workplace Technology teams to provide support for A/V and VTC technologies.
• Coordinate with level-3 Infrastructure support for break/fix solutions and 3rd party vendor site visits.
• Provide white-glove support to executive leadership.
• Ensure that A/V and client Hardware and Software Asset processes are followed.
• Manage user account and Active Directory database integrity
• Perform proactive meeting room technology reviews and preventative maintenance as required to ensure accurate implementation and operational support.
• Ensure that relevant help documentation is available.
• Ensure the presentation and safety of the room technology is maintained.
• Escalate housekeeping and technical issues outside of A/V technology to appropriate departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software incidents
• Participate in moves, adds, and changes as they relate to the WWE technology environment for senior leaders.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and technology standards to ensure system availability and security.
• Maintain and manage hardware policies for computers, peripherals, and presentation equipment.
• Occasional local travel, after-hours, and weekend meeting support.
• Other related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• College diploma or university degree, preferably in Computer Science or Telecommunication Technology and/or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Able to think out of the box, stay calm, and provide immediate solutions in high-pressure environments with executive leadership visibility.
• Troubleshooting experience of Audio/Visual Conferencing systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and associated hardware
• Experience with macOS and Apple hardware
• Experience supporting iPhone/iPad devices with Mobile Device Management (VMWare Workspace One or Microsoft Intune)
• Familiarity with Crestron presentation technology.
• Experience with Web Meetings and UCaaS (Zoom, Hangouts Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
• Experience supporting webcasts and webinars.
• Experience with Audio Communication Bridging services.
• Experience with productivity and presentation platforms (Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint) for ad-hoc meeting material updates.
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to present technical ideas in professional and user-friendly language.
• Experience with HD streaming software and protocols (H.323, SIP, RTMP) a plus
• Outstanding customer service skills, including white glove executive support.
• Able to lift and transport moderately heavy objects/equipment, such as computers and peripherals.
• Experience with ServiceNow and/or another ticketing system is a plus.
