
Event Technical Operations Manager

About the Role
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, live event environments and can expertly manage logistics, interdepartmental coordination, and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Advance and Coordinate Venues: Understand and execute pre-event planning by providing detailed documentation of upcoming venues, including logistical layouts, exterior and interior schematics, and other key operational details.
• On-Site Operations Management: Travel weekly to WWE event venues to provide direct operational support and ensure seamless day-to-day execution of event production.
• Crew Management: Coordinate event crews, track and log crew hours, and assist with staffing needs as required.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between technical operations, production, and engineering teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on all event details.
• Technical Liaison: Maintain consistent communication with broadcast engineers and producers to ensure all technical aspects of production are executed flawlessly.
• Documentation & Reporting: Deliver comprehensive post-event documentation, including photos, operational notes, and venue assessments.
• Payroll Coordination: Partner with back-of-house operations to manage crew payroll submissions and related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in broadcast operations or live television production.
• Technical Expertise: Basic understanding of broadcast engineering and technical infrastructure.
• Operational Skills: Proven ability to manage logistics and production workflows across multiple departments.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels.
• Problem Solving: Practical, solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to adapt quickly and 'think outside the box.'
• Travel: Must be willing and able to travel weekly as part of the WWE touring schedule.
• Documentation: Exceptional note-taking, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
