Director, Ops (Production)
WWE is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-orientated Director of Operations, Advanced Media Group to work with the Advanced Media Group. This individual is highly organized, self-efficient and motivated, capable of performing under tight guidelines
Responsibilities:
• Act as advisor to VP, Digital and Social Video
• Assist in facilitating effective strategy and decision-making
• Coordinate with multiple Vice Presidents to understand all systems, goals and how to effectively maintain and if necessary, reimagine
• Collaborate with internal directors and executives on global strategizes for more efficient, effective workflows and processes
• Track progression of all assets and levels of projects
• Day-to-day focus on all facets of operational detail to ensure information flow is appropriate and internal/external stakeholders are managed accordingly
• Assist with the creation and execution of departmental strategies and goals
• Evaluate and evolve operating policies and practices to ensure advancement and growth
• Serve as liaison for connecting various internal groups within Advanced Media
• Serve as the VP's primary liaison with management, staff and external organizations and leaders
• Maintain a pulse of all activations and initiatives across departments
• Maintain a high degree of discretion, prioritization and project management skills, as well as the ability to influence and reach amicable and successful solutions
• Ensure VP is prepared in advance for all meetings and help him transition from his time on the road to his corporate responsibilities effectively
• Serve as a voice and representative for the VP when he may be unavailable
• Manage the flow of information to and from the VP
• Create strategic documents on behalf of the VP for use with other executives
Qualifications:
• 8 years of related work experience in a TV/Digital/Media organization
• Experience leading and directing teams as well as meetings with accurate and appropriate communication
• Persuasive oral and written communication skills driven by solid business logic and keen judgment on when and how often to communicate
• Experience in coordinating production shoots (field and studio), supporting producer and on-air talent
• Strong knowledge and understanding of digital and social platforms
• Exceptionally capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, with strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based, ever-changing environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism, especially when timelines are off-track and/or behind schedule as well as the ability to hold individuals accountable, while fostering corrective and coachable scenarios
• Proven track record of displaying leadership qualities, strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business Administration, or Media-related field
• MBA a plus
