The Director of Security Operations plays a critical and strategic role in safeguarding WWE's Enterprise Technology assets. This role owns the planning and delivery of cyber security services within the organization. Working with the VP of Cybersecurity & Network, they will be responsible to plan and carry out security measures to monitor and protect critical data and systems from infiltration, exfiltration, and cyber-attacks. The successful candidate is versatile, takes initiative, can handle multiple priorities at the same time, weighs risks and articulates security concerns and controls to technical and non-technical audiences. He/she must have a ''security first'' approach, keep up to date on newly emerging threats and methodologies around cyber security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide thought leadership to mature the Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover framework and align processes and technologies for WWE
• Create an Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy and help execute that vision
• Provide direction and governance to security teams/SOC
• Monitor and respond to security alert notifications and critical issues
• Monitor security industry breach notifications and vulnerability alerts; Identify emerging risks to WWE and call out accordingly
• Manage and mature a continued cyber security incident response program
• Actively streamline and simplify workflows and processes; Use automation and orchestration for improved efficiency and efficacy where possible
• Identify security gaps and evaluate/onboard effective and efficient security solutions and vendors
• Provide Enterprise Technology applications teams with S-SDLC guidance and standard methodologies
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive log management / SIEM solution to detect, investigate, and resolve security incidents and threats
• Work with cybersecurity tools such as ForeScout, Cylance, SumoLogic, FireEye, BeyondTrust, and Mimecast
• Define and implement IaaS and cloud service security (AWS, G-Suite, O365)
• Lead mitigations and implementations identified by internal and external audits / assessments
• Assist in developing a continuous vulnerability management program
• Assist in establishing an application security program to Enterprise Technology and Media Technology teams
• Maintain an asset classification system and ensure critical assets are identified and hardware inventory is maintained
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures and controls aligned to NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF) and CIS controls
• Maintain documentation on cybersecurity controls and procedures
• Define and provide important metrics for executive visibility into security Key Performance Indicators
• Assist in compliance audits and control processes (SOX, GDPR, etc.)
Qualifications:
• 7+ years experience running cybersecurity technologies and operations
• Bachelor/Master's degree in Cyber Security plus current security certifications (CIPP, CICD, CISSP preferred).
• Knowledge of Industry standard methodologies for Risk / Compliance and Governance
• Experience leading cybersecurity projects (PMP preferred)
• Experience in managing risk and cybersecurity teams
• Experience with Cloud technologies (Amazon, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Application security and DevSecOps
• Event analysis capability, using log sources and packet captures
• Incident investigation and response skill set
• Knowledge of malware operation and indicators
• Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry a plus
