As a key member WWE's Digital & Social Video team, the Coordinating Road Producer will oversee production of taped and live vignettes and promos. This newly-created role will include directing Talent and Production staff as well as effectively liaising with TV Production, Creative Writing, and other stakeholders, including top executives. The Coordinating Producer will manage pre-production, production, and post production for Digital/Social field-produced elements including shoot set-ups in partnership with our TV Production team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage small team of Digital Producers while working with TV Production and Creative Writing teams to develop compelling video elements for various digital platforms including WWE.com, YouTube, Facebook, etc.
• Represent Digital Media in weekly TV Production meetings that are led by the highest of senior-level executives
• Manage, organize, and coordinate staff to produce various Digital & Social Media assignments and serve as liaison between Home and Road teams
• Initiate and create new digital video concepts
• Conduct interviews for Digital Video and text (communicate?) with WWE Talent
• Develop compelling video elements that complement WWE storylines and characters, primarily for posting on digital platforms but with the understanding that said elements may also be shown on broadcast TV
• Ensure quality control for all aspects of production and content for digital video projects
• Represent the Digital & Social Video team and serve as stand-in for VP as needed
• Handle ad hoc projects/requests from various departments on and off the road
Qualifications:
• 8 years of experience in Digital/TV Field Production, including managing video/film shoots and producing/directing on-air talent for live and taped segments/vignettes
• Proven track record of producing compelling digital video content (must provide portfolio/work samples)
• Experience managing video/film shoots for multiple digital/social platforms (YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
• Knowledgeable and up-to-date on social trends, platforms, and applications
• Experienced in shooting with professional and consumer cameras
• Editing experience with applications such as Avid and Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop) a plus
• Effective leadership capabilities and adept at making presentations to senior level executives
• Able to effectively manage and organize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, ever-changing environment
• Proven track record of creative and innovative thinking, effective storytelling, and consistent high-quality execution and results
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledgeable about current and/or past WWE TV shows, products, talent, and storylines preferred
• Willing and able to travel extensively (approximately 80%, both domestic and international), including weekends and holidays
• Clean driver's license
• Bachelor degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Digital Media, or related field of study
