Content Producer
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day editorial production and programming efforts for flagship WWE social and digital media platforms
• Produce engaging content for WWE's social media platforms and official website, encompassing functional updates, article and headline writing, social copy, interactive Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat Story construction, as well as video playlist curation
• Curate content across WWE social media platforms during live television programs and drive conversation among WWE fans on Twitter
• Perform other content and programming duties including WWE.com homepage and WWE App content management, leveraging news judgment and data analytics to drive editorial decision-making
• Pitch and generate original content across multiple formats, including articles, photo galleries, polls, video presentations and other interactive features
• Coordinate with digital design, photography, social media and video production teams to support daily multi-faceted, multimedia content creation
• Produce and conduct interviews with talent and assist in execution of on-location video and photo productions, with availability to travel when required
• Independently generate grammatically accurate and polished copy with minimal edits required
• Keep current with WWE programming, storylines, talent, brands and products
Qualifications:
• 4-5 years of experience in sports, entertainment, television and/or interactive content field, with a focus on content production and channel programming
• Background in writing, editing and collaborating in the web or mobile space with a proven ability to conceive and produce high-quality, high-interest content
• Strong editorial judgment with proven track record of independently conceiving and publishing compelling content across multiple mediums
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Experience working with content, social and/or video management and publishing systems (Khoros, Drupal, Grabyo, WordPress, Joomla, etc.)
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities, with an ability to thrive under pressure
• Must be able to work non-traditional schedule, including nights and weekends
• Working knowledge of WWE shows, talent and WWE Network strongly preferred
• Copy editing experience and AP Style familiarity preferred
• Impeccable grammar and diction required
• Proven proficiency with using the Internet/social media as a content cultivation resource and other various uses
• Familiarity with analytic tools and metric tracking (e.g. Google Analytics)
