WWE seeks a Content Curation Editor savvy in sports-entertainment to execute programming plans for content to be distributed across WWE Network, WWE.com and other related properties. The ideal candidate for this role should have an appreciation for how users consume content (especially video) across multiple platforms, and should be comfortable multitasking in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and curate new content categories and video playlists to drive user consumption and discovery across platforms
• Perform key curation functions in a content management system with guidance from a lead programming manager and other key stakeholders
• Write engaging headlines/titles for new content and update associated imagery as needed
• Aggregate assets under categories or themes that are relevant to fan demand and easily understood by a wide audience
• Research and review original and archival WWE content
• Support live and real-time programming changes to ensure users find priority content
• Monitor multiple projects through WWE's full program cycle
• Meet quality standards for content being distributed via WWE Network, WWE.com and other properties
• Maintain familiarity with all WWE programming, storylines and talent
Qualifications:
• 2 years' experience in digital content production or editorial, preferably with a focus on programming content on platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work with content and video management systems (e.g. Drupal, WordPress, etc.) and to troubleshoot problems along the way
• Excellent headline writing and editing skills
• Solid understanding of current trends in pop culture, sports and entertainment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Experience with content analysis and data analytics, a plus
• Working knowledge of WWE and WWE Network content strongly preferred
• Must be able to work non-traditional schedule, including nights and weekends
