Role profile:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, International Communications, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager and the VP, International Communications, in delivering a range of media, PR and publicity activities across all international markets. A confident and motivated team-player with excellent attention to detail, the candidate must be able to thrive in a busy environment and enjoy the thrill of multi-tasking on high-profile campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out tasks as directed to support the team in the implementation of PR and media campaigns.
• Plan and co-ordinate the talent phoner program across international markets with the agency network.
• Co-ordinate media coverage reporting, presentation and evaluation across the international agency network.
• Research and draft media materials across all WWE lines of business and international markets.
• Attend international live event tours as necessary, supporting in market PR activities and escorting WWE talent.
• Ideate and develop creative story ideas for local markets.
• Identify and develop relationships with key international journalists.
Capabilities:
• 3+ years of experience in PR, publicity and media relations, preferably with experience in media/entertainment or sports environment.
• Strong PR planning and measurement skills.
• Experience working on major PR campaigns.
• Experience working with celebrities and/or high-profile individuals.
• Results-driven personality.
• Strong writer with experience of producing and editing editorial content.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while still paying close attention to details
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Willing and able to travel and work outside normal business hours as needed
• Keep abreast of WWE products and storylines, as well as entertainment, media, and sports industry trends
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field of study preferred
