Associate Digital/Social Content Editor, Content Innovation Lab
WWE is seeking a versatile, eager Associate Digital/Social Editor responsible for creating and programming digital and social media content generated in WWE's Content Innovation Lab, located at WWE's Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Content Innovation Lab production team, key staff and talent to develop and produce creative, highly progressive content for global fan consumption
• Manage and maintain day-to-day content curation of respective Content Innovation Lab platforms
• Constantly brainstorm new, original concepts for execution, with a focus on video
• Provide emerging talent with guidance and training around best practices for original content creation and building social platform presence
• Make applicable recommendations around use of new tech trends and key social/digital content publishing trends
• Seek and create content opportunities to collaborate with social and pop culture influencers
• Provide real-time platform coverage during live productions
• Develop original social-based editorial features such as themed Facebook/Instagram Stories, live executions, etc.
• Keep current with WWE programming, storylines, talent, brands and products
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in social media editorial and/or channel management
• Immense passion for emerging media trends and technology, particularly on social platforms
• Strong editorial judgment with proven track record of independently designing and publishing compelling content
• High familiarity with social media content management systems
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
• Must be able to work non-traditional schedule, including nights and weekends
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Impeccable grammar and diction required
• Passion for pop culture
• Moderate degree of travel required
• Experience with live production, a plus
• Working knowledge of WWE TV shows, talent and storylines, a plus
